Mason's Big Day

Tuesday was a big day for Mason.

We got to meet Will at the Donut Shop for breakfast and then his class went on their first field trip. We had been trying to plan a donut date with Will for weeks so Mason was thrilled when it finally happened. I enjoyed visiting with Will's mom too. Madi even got to run around with Luke, Will's little brother. We may have to do this again soon!

Mason's class had a small but fun field trip.  After Chapel they walked across the street and had a picnic at the park.  I met them there to play and take a few pictures.

Asking the blessing before eating.  They were all so sweet yet sooo sweaty!!

Sick and Staying Home

Madi came home from Nick's baseball game a few weeks ago with fever.  It lasted all week long, which meant momma had to be creative in keeping the kids happy but home.  We usually get up and go every day so this was a very long week!

We had a pajama day and camped out in the living room.  The kids love their tents and had so much fun playing in them all day.  Breakfast, lunch and dinner were served in the tent!! And yes we all stayed in our jammies all day.

The kids got to nap in my bed!  I love that they each have a lovie- Mr. Frog and Blankie!

Naps didn't quite make it to either bed today!! They both crashed out on the couch!

Madi is finally feeling better and yes she drassed herself today!! She is such a little DIVA!

T-Ball

T-Ball is over and will be missed!  Mason had so much fun and we actually saw some major improvement.  By the last game the kids knew what to expect and most could hit the ball off the tee on the first try! The weather was perfect all season and even Madi enjoyed the games.

Pony Tails and Ice Cream

I know I got everyone hooked and then stopped posting!  It has been a crazy busy month at The Johnson Household.  We have done some demolition, swimming, battled illness and finished t-ball!!

Nick and I tore down the shed in the backyard.  We have plans to rebuild it but the kids are loving their new patio in the meantime.  One afternoon while the kids were napping I went out back and drew "Johnsonville" with chalk.  It lasted for days until the rain finally washed it away.  The kids loved driving cars, trucks and airplanes all around town!

Mason is currently obsessed with Snow Cones and with the Texas heat fast approaching I don't mind giving in and sharing one with him often.  Madi is more of a Ice Cream Cone girl.  She loves her Ice Cream and prefers to use a finger to eat it (and share with Sadie!)

Madi has finally turned into a real little girl!  She decided a few weeks ago to let me pull her hair back.  There is still not much hair to play with but I am loving trying to fix it!
